Spooky Indonesian Mystery....

Nyi Roro KiduL

Nyai Loro Kidul, also known as Nyi Roro Kidul is thought to be a legendary Javanese goddess. She is the queen of the Southern Sea of Java (Indian Ocean or Samudra Kidul) in Javanese and Sundanese mythology.
People believe that Nyi Roro Kidul is very beautiful that will never disappear. She might be a queen of a ghost kingdom under the sea.
Nyai Loro Kidul is often illustrated as a mermaid with a tail as well the lower part of the body of a snake. People who lived in Middle Java or Yogyakarta always held a sea ceremony for her, they wishes Nyi Roro Kidul will give a luckiness, or they won’t get anything dangerous. The ceremony usually held in Java’s big days like 1 Sura.
Almost the people who live near Southern Sea of Java believe that People who come to the Nyi Roro Kidul’s territory by wearing green or red clothes, they will get lost, it might because Nyi Roro Kidul absolutely loves that colors. So they told the visitors not to wear red or green clothes if they enter to her territory.
She also has a ability to change shape several times a day. Sometimes Nyai Loro Kidul literally can be spoken of as a "naga", a mythical snake. This idea may have been derived from some myths concerning a princess of Pajajaran who suffered from leprosy. The skin disease mentioned in most of the myths about Nyai Loro Kidul might possibly refer to the shedding of a snake's skin.

Our Opinion :
We think that it might be true, because they’re a lot of people believe in her. But about she llives in the Kingdom of Southern Sea, we aren’t sure about it because it can’t be true.
